SOCAlabama aggregates publicly available threat intelligence from U.S. government sources. These API calls are made server-side from our server — your browser communicates only with socbama.com, never directly with these third parties:

CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog — cisa.gov (public domain, U.S. government)
NIST National Vulnerability Database (NVD) REST API — nvd.nist.gov (public domain, U.S. government)

No personal data is transmitted to these services. Responses are cached server-side for up to 24 hours to reduce load and improve performance.

Cookies & Local Storage

SOCAlabama sets no cookies of any kind — not session cookies, not persistent cookies, not third-party cookies. No browser local storage or session storage is written by this site. No fingerprinting techniques are employed.

Analytics & Advertising

This site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking service. No advertising is displayed on this site.

All Processing Is Client-Side

All threat map rendering, county risk scoring, and vulnerability display logic runs entirely in your browser as client-side JavaScript. No data you view on this dashboard is transmitted back to our servers — the dashboard simply displays public government data fetched via our proxy.

Children's Privacy

SOCAlabama is a professional cybersecurity tool intended for IT professionals, government staff, and security practitioners. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
